The Road Ahead

Hi there!

Well it is 2011 and half a year of it over already!! Time has flown......

We arrived home and Mike hit the ground running with work for the shops and worked hard to keep the sinking ship afloat. It was good to come home and was a smooth transition back into our home and the girls adjusting so easily and happy. They enjoyed the summer and have loved their 2 terms at school. I can see God's hand in us being home during a time of severe illness for my dad and then my mom too. We had our 3rd daughter arrive on 8 March and what a sweetie she is - total blessing and joy! We have been blessed to have this time with family and friends here.

Mike has been studying the book of Acts while home via correspondence online with Calvary Bible College Europe. It has been a challenge to keep it up while juggling work etc but he is so blessed with each chapter he does.

We have had a much enjoyed break away as a family to the Garden Route - great for Mike to get to rest. During a time of seeking the Lord God gave him a scripture 2 Corinthians 8:10 to 12

"And this I give advice: It is to your advantage not only to be doing what you began and were desiring to do a year ago; but now you also must complete the doing of it; that is there was a readiness to desire it, so there also may be a completion out of what you have. For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.

So we know and are assured it is the Lord's will for us to head back to Hungary and complete the missions training program at Calvary Chapel Bible College Europe. I love it how clearly the Lord guides when you seek Him - no doubting here.

Mike is in Mozambique for a 10 day missions trip with Samaria Missions. They are working in a village of Maweni just over the Limpopo River. They are drilling a well for the village and doing outreach at the same time with various programs for the villagers.

He returns home this Sunday and then he is off to Madagascar on the 9th of July for 10 days to scout out the land again with a prayer partner. They will be visitng missionary friends in Nosy Be and Diego. He is excited to be helping out a missionary friend with her end of year concert at her little school in Nosy Be - a big event for her and the kids and parents each year.

We are praying where to do another 10 day period before the semester starts in September. This will complete the 30 days practical for the missions program.

So Lord willing we will be back in Europe August 2011. We hope to attend a missions conference in Austria from August 14th. The Fall Semester will start early September and we will be home again early December.

Prayer requests:
1. Mike's trip to Mozambique for safety, health and to be used for God's purposes there. Us at home especially the girls missing daddy..
2. Madagascar trip from 9 July for God to clearly guide them while there by His spirit and reveal more of the details for us to possibly serve there in the future. To be used to help and encourage the missionaries they will be visiting.
3. God to guide us where to serve another 10 days.
4. Smooth visa application for us and baby Sienah for Europe - her passport came smoothly
5. Someone to rent our home while we away.
6. Our Table View shop to sell if its the Lord's will.
7. God's provision for His purposes and will in our lives.

2 Cor 8:13 - 15
" For I do not mean that others should be eased and you burdened; but by and equality, that now at this time your abundance also may supply your lack - that there may be equality. As it is written, "He who gathered much had nothing left over, and he who gathered little had no lack."

Desiring to follow God's plan and purpose and calling for us.
